Dear Pedal Pushers,Last summer I bought one of your shirts for a friend who lives in North Dakota. Not only did he then wear it as he biked across France in June, it also recently got featured on a flier for a bike festival at the University of North Dakota. It’s probably something pretty small, but I thought you might enjoy to see how far your t-shirts have gone. From, An Eastern Market ResidentNikki

Was cut off by a “fellow” female cyclist on a single lane city road in
front of a GIANT pothole i.e. crater back to the parking lot of
Gatineau Park after our group’s fall ride.
Luckily I walked away. Used my neckwarmer as a tourniquet, and had my
trusty flask to take the edge off. While I was taking 5 my buddies
checked out my ride.

Last photo of all the bikes is after the “Get Back Alley Cat” in
Ottawa. This is the event list

And that photo is by Simon Stiles.

We have a small, solid crew that rides every Friday night at 6, and on
weekends for longer rides.

Cheers,

The first two pics were taken in Sonoma County where I live, home to some of the best roads for cyclists. The third pic is a sea of cyclists at the starting line of Levi Leipheimer’s King Ridge GranFondo, which I participated in this past Saturday in Santa Rosa, CA
Thanks,

Hi there-Here are some pictures for you consideration for the photo blog.

I flew to Switzerland in May 2011 to visit a close friend. After a long overnight flight, I thought it would be fun to take advantage of a bike rental station in Bern, Switzerland. The ride was amazing and diverse. We spent some time cruising around on bike baths just outside the city to view mountains, dairy farms, local homes and ended our trip by cycling in downtown Bern. Switzerland is a shining example of a country that supports alternative transportation in a beautiful way. Every city I visited offered residents and visitors easy access to bicycle transportation, complete with bike lanes, bike rentals, bike shops and bike parking.

Enjoy and keep up the good work!

This is Riley heading out on her first bike ride with her dad Geoff (who’s incidentally wearing his Bikefish t-shirt in this pic!).  They did a lap of Karori Park in Wellington, New Zealand.  Riley giggled almost the entire way round - unfortunately the last hundred metres she cried, she really wasn’t so keen on riding into the sun….  (We’ve since bought her some sunnies :+))
